After hunting around for the McDonald’s Hello Kitty × Godzilla Happy Meal toys, I finally got Hello Kitty × Space Godzilla!

And now I’m starting to think the rumor everyone has been talking about might actually be true…

Each McDonald’s location may only have ONE character available at a time.

Why do I think that?

I’ve now tried different McDonald’s locations, and whenever I ordered two or three Happy Meals from the same restaurant, every single toy was the same character! 😂

Then I went to a different McDonald’s… and suddenly, a different character appeared.

Coincidence? Maybe. But after seeing it happen more than once, I’m definitely starting to believe there’s something to this theory.

So if you’re collecting the McDonald’s Hello Kitty × Godzilla series and keep getting duplicates, try visiting different McDonald’s locations instead of ordering more Happy Meals from the same one. You might have much better luck!

Of course, availability can vary by restaurant and by day, so this isn’t a confirmed McDonald’s rule—just what I’ve experienced so far and what other collectors have been saying.
