I Finally Found Keroppi x King Ghidorah! 🐸🐉 McDonald’s Hello Kitty x Godzilla Happy Meal Hunt

The hunt continues — and I finally got a different one!! 🎉

The new McDonald’s Hello Kitty & Friends x Godzilla Happy Meal collection has officially taken over my life. 😂

Last time, I bought THREE Happy Meals from the same McDonald’s, hoping I might get a few different characters from the collection.

And what happened?

All three were Hello Kitty x Godzilla! 🎀🦖

I was happy because Hello Kitty x Godzilla was the one I wanted the most — and I even got it on my very first try! But getting the exact same figure three times made me wonder about something collectors have been talking about online:

Does each McDonald’s location only have one character available at a time?

There have been reports from collectors getting multiples of exactly the same toy from one location, while people visiting another McDonald’s are finding a completely different character.

So today, I decided to test that theory myself.

I went to a different McDonald’s location and bought another Happy Meal.

And look what I got…

🐸🐉 Keroppi x King Ghidorah!!

YESSSS!! 🎉

This is #2 in the collection, featuring Keroppi transformed into the legendary three-headed King Ghidorah — and it is ridiculously cute!

The three Keroppi heads, the little wings, the golden-yellow color… I love how they managed to turn one of Godzilla’s most powerful enemies into something this adorable. 😂

And now I’m really starting to think there may be something to the online rumors.

At my first McDonald’s:

3 Happy Meals = 3 Hello Kitty x Godzilla figures.

Then I changed locations:

1 Happy Meal = Keroppi x King Ghidorah!

McDonald’s hasn’t officially said that every restaurant carries only one character at a time, so it’s not a confirmed rule. But collectors around the country have been reporting similar experiences, with certain locations seemingly giving out the same figure until their stock changes.

So if you’re trying to collect all eight, changing McDonald’s locations might actually be the better strategy than buying several Happy Meals from the same restaurant!

So far, my collection is:

The new McDonald’s Hello Kitty and Godzilla Happy Meal collection is here—and of course, the figure I wanted most was Hello Kitty dressed as Godzilla! 🎀🦖

I picked up Box #1 and opened it without knowing which character was hiding inside. To my surprise, it was Hello Kitty Godzilla—my number-one favorite—on my very first try!

She combines Hello Kitty’s signature red bow with an adorably detailed Godzilla costume, complete with tiny claws, dorsal spikes, and a little tail. Cute and fearsome at the same time!

Another adorable Monchhichi has joined my collection — and this time, he’s dressed for a rainy day!

The Ladybug Raincoat Boy immediately caught my eye with his bright red raincoat and ridiculously cute ladybug hood. From the little black spots to the tiny antennae, the whole design gives classic Monchhichi charm an extra playful twist.

There’s something about this one that makes him stand out even among my growing collection. He’s colorful, cheerful, and almost impossible not to smile at.

This time, I finally brought home Super Star Cowawa, the 1 in 144 secret figure from THE MONSTERS Constellation Series by POP MART × HOW2WORK.

From the moment I opened the blind box, I knew it was worth the wait. The beautiful blue gradient, adorable smiling star accessory, and mischievous expression make this one of my favorite Cowawa designs.

One feature I absolutely love is that it glows in the dark, giving the figure an extra magical touch once the lights go out.

The best part, though, was placing it beside my black Cowawa ZWA. Together they create the perfect display, making it feel like this little secret figure has finally found its home.
